In Arenal Volcano a tour of the Arenal - La Fortuna region you can tour the distant base of Arenal Volcano, a canopy tour of Arenal national park rainforest, and a chance to relax at Tabacon Hot Springs after an Arenal tour. For adventure there is ATV touring, canyoning down several waterfalls, or exploring caves that are over 15 million years old! Then at night time enjoy Arenal Volcano lava light up this active Volcano or visit Arenal Rainforest and see the active animals of the night. Canyoning - Arenal Volcano Tour

Rappel down some of the most dramatic waterfalls in Costa Rica and into a canyon that reminds us of something out of the movie Lord of the Rings! See tropical birds, monkeys and thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers. You do not need experience and this tour is kid friendly.

Suggestions of what to bring: Swimsuit or shorts; Cotton T-shirts. Tennis shoes, runners, or sandals with ankle straps. Change of clothes. No jeans or flip flops

ATV Tour - Arenal Volcano Tour

We invite you to enjoy the most unforgettable tour that the Arenal Volcano area has to offer while riding an ATV, going through banana, papaya, and yucca (cassava), avocado, black pepper and fruit tree plantations.

We'll stop at a lookout point where there's a spectacular view of the most beautiful waterfall in the area. Then continue our trip to a unique and impressive Butterfly Farm where you will observe a variety of butterflies and their life cycle in a nature habitat. We will also take you to a beautiful natural swimming hole where you can swim and cool off.

Suggestions of what to bring Comfortable/active clothing, bathing suit and towel, sneakers or water shoes, insect repellent, camera. sunscreen, sun visor cap; String or strap to secure your glasses; No jeans, flip flops or sandals. Perhaps a change of clothes.

Volcano Hike - Arenal Volcano Tour

Hike an old lava bed in the Arenal National Park! This park is located at the base of the Arenal Volcano and is filled with plant life and a history you would not believe. As you hike along the trails you have amazing views of not only the active volcano but also the spectacular Lake Arenal. After your hike enjoy the healing hot springs at the Tabacon Resort which are located at the base of the volcano, the natural healing properties will sooth and relax you. This tour is not to be missed on your trip to the La Fortuna area.

Suggestions of what to bring: tennis shoes, swimsuit, comfortable/active clothing, water, camera, sunscreen, and day backpack. No flip flops.

Venado Caves - Arenal Volcano Tour

Form during the Miocene period of 15 – 20 million years ago the Venado Caves where under the sea until the tectonic movements the caves surfaced. Located outside the town of La Fortuna, it is here that you can experience limestone rocks, stalagmites, and stalactites formed by the underwater river, a wonder for the whole family. You will walk through the river and waterfalls and recommend wearing light clothes, hiking shoes and bring an extra set of clothes to be able to change at the end of this Arenal tour.

Whilst kayaking on Lake Arenal you can explore coves, lagoons and river outlets that you can see howler monkeys, and over 400 species of birds, with Arenal Volcano in the background.

Sky Tram including Zipline canopy tour Arenal Volcano Tour

Board the Sky Tram as it takes you to the op of Arenal Rainforest reserve for the Arenal rainforest canopy tour. It is here that the adventure, your adrenalin rush and the canopy tour fun begins. With 8 cross-sectional cables; with a length of 5 miles, each zipline section canopy section ranges from 300 to 2500 feet in distance and 65 to 660 foot high. Within a couple of sections you can choose to continue or return on the sky tram. It is with these measurements that you can enjoy a bird’s eye view as you glide through and over Arenal rainforest canopy.

Sky Tram Night Tour – Arenal Volcano Tour

Enjoy the Arenal Rainforest by night. The Arenal night rainforest guided tour starts with the sky tram taking you to the Arenal Rainforest viewing platform. From the viewing platform proceed down onto the rainforest floor for a guided night tour along the track to see the animals of the night; such as animals, frogs, and the birds of Arenal Rainforest. On a clear night it is possible to see the lava as it cascades down Arenal Volcano.

Your trip begins with a 30-minute 4x4 drive into the tropical rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon.
 

 

 
From the first waterfall we will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. The adventure includes four rappels, three of which are along waterfalls, and one dry rock face. Then just a short trek out of the canyon, jump in the vehicles and head back to the base camp.

We have two tours a day, 7:00AM and 12:00PM, they are approximately 4 hours in duration. Both tours include lunch at our base camp and snacks in the canyon.
