Wildlife & Royal Albatross Tour
Tours provide an
unrivalled wildlife viewing of estuarine and marine wildlife
including: Royal Albatross, Hooker's Sea lions, Yellow-eyed
Penguins, Blue Penguins and a breeding colony of New Zealand
Fur Seals with a further 25-30 other species seen during the
experience. Close up unobtrusive viewing from beach
locations and strategically placed observation hides is
guaranteed.
With the Royal Albatross Centre Tour (Seasonal)
See the world's biggest sea bird close-up with an unique
opportunity to watch the Albatross colony at their nesting
area. Your tour guide will deliver you to the Royal
Albatross centre to join their one hour tour, then joining
up with the rest of the half day tour. NOTE: Not available
during the Albatross nest building time from 16th September
to 24th November each year.

The Taieri Gorge Journey
Departing Dunedin daily (except Christmas day) it takes
you on a journey through the rugged and spectacular Taieri
River Gorge, across wrought iron viaducts and through
tunnels carved by hand more than 100 years ago.
With full commentary, photographic stops, comfortable
heating in winter and on board refreshments the train offers
year round, all-weather entertainment.
You can make the return journey to Pukerangi, or
Middlemarch, or use the train as the one leg of your journey
to or from Queenstown and connecting to coach to or from
Dunedin.
