Albee Travel - Letters of Appreciation

My name is Murray Mills, I was raised in New Zealand and during that time I have travelled to every corner of New Zealand.

Then I moved to Australia for about 13 years; lived in both Sydney and Melbourne, where I visited every state and territory within Australia. I have visited all of the major Pacific Islands.

Travelling has allowed me to visit over 30 countries; travel through time, and to see how the locals live is a special interest for me.  Whenever the opportunity arises, I love to explore new sites, visit historical places, and of course exotic shopping can be so invigorating.

Photography is a special interest of mine and I took the majority of pictures for this site.   Nature photography is my first love and it is hard to find a person; (let alone me) in a photo.

Travelling to me is an opportunity to have fun, relax, experience, explore, educate, and meet new people - long distance relationships can work; look at me. The most helpful experience is to live life outside the box and in many different ways.

Hi Murray...Just to let you know..we really enjoyed our trip to Australia and New Zealand. You did a great job helping us determine which sights to see. We truly enjoyed the trip and were amazed how friendly the Aussies are!!!!...thank you so much..this will go down as one of our favorite "Holidays" and we thank you.

Regards, Jim and Jan

Dear Murray,

After a hectic time back from our trip complete with the obligatory computer problems, I'm back in action on email. Robert and I again wanted to extend our gratitude for your help with our travel plans. As many trips as we've booked, we don't think we could have picked a better company or travel agent to work with! Your knowledge of the area as well as your promptness in responding to our questions was so appreciated.

Thank you especially for your patience with me as I know I had a lot of questions. We've failed to ask questions on previous trips and have run into some travel challenges. We were just trying to get the most out of our time since we only had a limited two weeks. Your suggestions for zoos, restaurants, day trips etc. were very helpful in making our trip a huge success. We especially enjoyed the diving at the Great Barrier Reef, our day trip to Hunter Valley, the Sky bridge climb, the Koala Sanctuary in Cairns, and the Melbourne Zoo.

We look forward to working with you again on our next trip to Australia and New Zealand, but with fewer phone calls now that we know first-hand the excellent work that you do!

Sincerely, Nicole and Robert

Dear Murray - just a quick note (between sorting the mail and piles of laundry) to say thank you for organizing a wonderful trip for us. We loved every part of it and thought you had put us in the very best location on each island. Everything went very smoothly and we appreciate your hard work. (My 19 year old described it as "we were moved from place to place and occasionally someone put a necklace on us!") We have lots of ideas for future vacations - including Fiji and Thailand.

Next time, we'll work together ahead of time, so it won't be so crazy! Best to you and your family – Vicki

I’m moving! g'day! how you goin'? I’m ready to move to Australia!!! I loved it!!!! I had such a great time, and the people were fabulous--just like you! and the scenery was just awesome. I even learned a little Australian while I was there!

I just wanted to thank you for planning such a fabulous trip. the hotels you booked (ibis darling harbour in Sydney and colonial club in cairns) were just fantastic. I really appreciate all your work. and I’ll make sure to send more work your way--you're awesome. thanks again! Jennifer

Hi Murray,

We had a really great time. The kiwis are about the nicest people in the world. The tour was really well laid out and EVERYTHING went smoothly. We got tons of pictures, drank lots of great wine and beer, ate really excellent food, had a bunch of great adventures, bought a lot of cool stuff, and met a lot of really cool people.

The BEST thing was the Waterwings flight. We upgraded it a little bit to a longer flight, and we made a landing in one of the more distant fjords at a sailboat that the pilot recognized. We went aboard and had tea and met the passengers, who were all grad students from Edinburgh, Scotland studying black coral. The most unexpectedly cool town was Dunedin. The day trips were fun, but the town was very friendly. We made sure we hit the Speight's Brewery tour. And we saw The Two Towers there on Christmas Day. Incredible food there.

The train rides were gorgeous. The jet boat rides, and kayaking were all great adventures. We upgraded the rafting with a heli flight to the put in, and a more advanced river. We took a wine tour based out of Queenstown, and bought a bunch of local Pinot Noirs. The country is incredibly beautiful. We certainly will go again. All the towns were worthy of many visits. Very well done, Murray.

We're glad we took your advice and went to NZ. We look forward to working with you again. Vance and Suzanne

Murray,
On behalf of my wife, I wanted to thank you for everything you did for us to plan our trip to New Zealand. The whole honeymoon experience was truly amazing. There was not one hitch in the entire trip. We had one of the most memorable trips and experiences of our lives. We haven't stopped talking about it yet. We took 13 roles of film, and the pictures are beautiful. All of our friends and family are jealous. All of the activities that you booked for us were so enjoyable, and the lodging was very comfortable, clean and safe. We didn't want to come back to LA when it was all over.

I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year! Thanks again for everything Murray. It was the best. Cheers-Tim and Kelly

Dear Murray,

Just want to thank you for your patient planning of our trip. We had a fabulous time and the accommodations were terrific. We had king sized beds in all our rooms except for one night. We had the ocean front room
in Cairns at the Tradewinds and the lakeside room in Queenstown at the Copthorne. The Kuranda tour, including Tjapukai, Skyrail, and rail was very good, the buffet lunch was just as it said...sumptuous.
In Rotorua, the Maori Hangi feast and concert was more than we had anticipated...visiting the village and having a whole evening of informational entertainment. It gave us a broadened view of the Maori
people.

Our time out to the fiords was not scheduled through you, but we did do the Doubtful Sound excursion. We picked up the boat at Lake Manapouri, since we had rented a car. It was very good!!! The Lord's Creation was spectacular! Thank you for making the connections and for encouraging me to go with the hotels they suggested. The hotels were beautiful and made the traveling very nice for us and for our parents.

Thank you again for your assistance in this matter.

Murray, we just wanted to thank you for all your helping in the planning of our trip to New Zealand. We had an absolutely wonderful time. New Zealand is spectacular! Everything worked exactly as we wanted it to. We had no problem doing any of the things we wanted to do. I guess the time of year we went helped that. The hotels we stopped at were all so different but equally lovely. I especially recommend the Breakers in Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula. Marie and Don (the owners) were fabulous hosts and the property is wonderful.

The only thing I would have changed was to spend more time on the South Island. There were several things there that there just wasn't time to get to see. Maybe next trip. ;-) We were very pleased with how you handled all of the details, Murray. Your advice on where to go and what to do were invaluable. We would certainly have no problem recommending you and your agency to anyone. You may use us as a reference for any of your clients. Thank you again for all your help.

It really made our trip a once-in-a-lifetime event. Sincerely, David & Bettelou
