Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Auckland on your New Zealand package tour, and
transfer to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy Auckland city.
Day 2: Coach transfer, or drive from Auckland to the Waitomo
Glow worm caves for a tour, then onto Rotorua. Perhaps for more
action; experience underground cave adventure as you climb into
an underground network of a river canyon for an adrenaline rush.
This evening enjoy a Maori Hangi and a concert of Maori songs
and dance.
Day 3: Half day of Rotorua visiting Te Puia Gyserland,
Rainbow Springs to see the Kiwi conservation effort New Zealand
native nocturnal bird,
and to Agrodome to see New Zealand sheep and farm life.
Day 4: Transfer to Rotorua Airport or drop-off vehicle, then
fly to Queenstown.
Day 5: Today travel to the Milford Sound and enjoy the
ancient glacier carved scenery that dominates the region. Once
at the foot of the fjord, board your boat to cruise the Milford
Sound out to the Tasman Sea whilst enjoying lunch.
Day 6: A free day in Queenstown to go Four wheel driving to
see scenes from The Lord of the Rings; New Zealand wine touring and tasting ;
jet boat riding or white water rafting to name a few different
optional touring.
Day 7: This morning either coach transfer or pick-up your rental vehicle and travel to
Franz Josef Glacier.
Day 8: This morning enjoy a helicopter ride with a glacier
landing or a guided glacier hike. In the afternoon enjoy Franz
Josef Township amidst native forest.
Day 9: Coach transfer or travel northward to Greymouth where you will drop-off
your rental vehicle to connect with the Tranz Alpine Scenic
Train to Christchurch.
Day 10: Enjoy this very English city of Christchurch. Perhaps
go whale watching via the Tranz Coastal Train, wine touring and
tasting, enjoy a leisurely walk around Hagley Park Gardens, a
balloon ride or a Scenic flight to Mt Cook.
Day 11: Homeward bound and having many memories of New
Zealand package tour with the experiences that you have had along the way.
