Routeburn Track Encounter
Your day begins with a journey along the Queenstown-Glenorchy
Road that follows the rugged shoreline of Lake
Wakatipu, Queenstown. At the top of Lake Wakatipu
enter the wilderness sanctuary of the Mount Aspiring
National Park.
It is here the invigorating 4 mile walk up the wide
and smooth track to Routeburn Flats located between
scenic mountains, with time to linger by the river
as it meanders across the alpine meadow. The guide
will point out the unique flora and birdlife of the
Routeburn Valley. Enjoy a very scenic lunch at
Routeburn Flats Hut while taking in the splendor of
the surrounding mountains in Mt Aspiring National
Park, Queenstown.
An extra extension is the more challenging than what
you have walked, but the 980 foot climb in about 2
miles to the Routeburn Falls is well worth the
effort and a highlight of the days walk.

Shotover or Kawarau River Rafting - Queenstown
Vacation
Enjoy a half day
of white water rafting down the rivers that are
located in the Queenstown region. For beginners on
the Kawarau River to start on peaceful waters to
learn paddling techniques, take in the scenery or a
friendly water fight, and then time to take on the
rapids.
The Shotover River is for the more experienced
whitewater rafter where at first is taken into the
Skipper Canyon outside Queenstown. Then first slowly
drift along the river and take in the scenery, then
take on exhilarating multi rapids of the Shotover
River.

River Surfing - Queenstown Vacation
The trip begins in calm water with an
introduction to the equipment and instructions on
the basics of river boarding technique.
The infamous Chinese Dog Leg section graded 2 –
4, is named after New Zealand’s longest commercial
run rapid, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It
is also home to the regions best surf spots where we
stop and teach you how to surf standing waves.
The Roaring Meg section is a continuous 6km
section graded 2-3 because of its fast flowing, mind
blowing intensity.

Full Day Milford Sound Kayaking
This fully guided Kayak on the Milford Sound
gives you the opportunity to really appreciate the
depth of this Fjord. No experience necessary and
kayak tours operate from October to May. Learn about
the local history, flora and fauna. Milford or
Doubtful Sound kayak between 4-5 hours.
A full day guided Kayak of Doubtful Sound is also
available.
